📍 TomTom Automotive Design System

I was deeply involved with the Automotive Design System at TomTom in Amsterdam. My focus was on designing reusable components and actively supporting UX designers, PMs, and engineers in making use of the design system, consulting them on effectively integrating these components into their workflows. I also advised TomTom’s customers, including OEMs, on how to utilize the design token system and the components we delivered. Additionally, I worked on establishing a seamless process for contributing to the design system, optimizing the design token structure, refining the color system, and consolidating a single source of truth for design system documentation. This documentation served both designers and developers, addressing internal and external needs.
