De Nederlandsche Bank

Since May 2024, I have been working as a Senior UX Designer at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), where I have taken on the role of Design System Strategist and Lead UX Designer. My primary focus is on pioneering the 'Electrum' design system, a product-agnostic system that serves as the foundation for over 30 internal applications across the bank. As the driving force behind Electrum, I am responsible not only for its strategic direction but also for building and delivering the generic components that form the backbone of our development teams' work. In addition to this, I lead the UX design for various products and services connected to DNB, including 'Mijn DNB'—a secure, transparent, and structured digital platform that facilitates communication between DNB and its external partners. Given the sensitive nature of my work and the confidentiality agreements I am bound by, I am unable to share specific project details. However, my role at DNB is a testament to my ability to shape and lead large-scale design initiatives within highly regulated environments.
